The inhabitants of Vereda La Imagen, located in Tenerife, Magdalena, have made significant progress by completing the reconstruction of their local bridge. The community came together to raise funds to repair the bridge that had suffered considerable deterioration due to recent rains, putting the connectivity and safety of residents at risk.

This notable work was possible thanks to the collaboration between the Community Action Board and community members, who contributed both financial resources and labor. The reconstruction of the bridge is a testament to the collective effort and commitment of the inhabitants of La Imagen to improve their infrastructure and quality of life.

Despite this achievement, the community takes the opportunity to express its discontent with municipal and government authorities, who did not respond to repeated requests for help. A prominent leader of the village expressed his frustration with politicians, accusing them of only appearing during election times in search of votes, while they are absent when the community really requires their support.
