The Regional Ministerial Secretary of Public Works (S), Paola Azócar Betancur reported that the Regional Comptroller’s Office took account of the Mandate Agreement made between the Regional Government of Aysén and the Regional Directorate of Architecture of the MOP, which contains the budget increase approved by the Regional Council of Aysén to replace essential elements, such as a synthetic grass field and perimeter closure, at the ANFA Stadium, located in Puerto Aysén.
With this administrative act, the Regional Directorate of Architecture of the MOP awards the Santa Eduarda SPA Construction Company the desired works that will begin the last week of this month, have an execution period of 180 days and an investment from the Regional Government and its Council of $802 million. This was confirmed by Paola Azócar Betancur.
“At the end of this month we are going to begin the replacement work on the synthetic grass field at the ANFA Stadium. A project that has been greatly desired by leaders and people who practice sports and who mobilize around this activity. This project has been financed by the Regional Government and its Council. These works will allow us to advance as a government in building infrastructure that has an evident social nature and that contributes to more people having access to the practice of sport in a safe place, conditioned for these purposes, as well as opening up this space associated with sport to other Clubs that make up ANFA. We will improve conditions in which athletes develop and contribute to recreation and the promotion of a healthy life among boys, girls, young people, adults and seniors, along with creating employment for 20 average people, boosting the local economy this year of economic reactivation,” indicated the SEREMI MOP (S)
The works include the complete change of the synthetic grass carpet of the Stadium, the replacement of the perimeter closure, the change of the substitute benches, control booth, construction of pedestrian paths, protective sports mesh, flagpole and the installation of garbage cans, among others.
