According to the National Meteorological Service (SMN), starting this week there would be a new drop in temperatures and declared a yellow and orange alert for wind and snow for different areas of Neuquén and Rio Negro.

For its part, the Interjurisdictional Authority of Cuencas (AIC) indicated that rain and snowfall would be recorded in the mountain range starting this Monday. And he added: “The entry of cold air continues during the week with snowfall in the mountains. In the plateau and coastal valleys, polar air will begin on Thursday with probable rain and snowfall.

Aluminé Mountain Range – Chos Malal Mountain Range – Loncopué Mountain Range – Minas Mountain Range – Picunches Mountain Range – Ñorquín Mountain Range: Yellow alert for snowfall on Monday morning. Yellow alert for wind in the afternoon. Orange alert for snow in the afternoon and evening.

East of Loncopué – East of Picunches – East of Ñorquín – West of Añelo – West of Pehuenches – South of Chos Malal – South of Minas: Yellow alert for wind on Monday afternoon.

Huiliches Mountain Range – Lácar Mountain Range – South Aluminé: Yellow alert for snow on Monday morning. Orange alert for snow in the afternoon and evening.

The alert for Rio Negro

According to the SMN, there will be snowfall in Bariloche; the Bolson; the Pilcaniyeu Mountain Range and the Ñorquincó Mountain Range. The notice was in effect from Monday morning until Tuesday morning.
