There is commotion in the Aburrá Valley due to the discovery of the body of Mateo Vargas Jaramillo, a 16-year-old teenager whose body was found by a passerby while he was playing sports in the Yarumito village, in the municipality of Barbossa.

According to the official case report, the passer-by called the authorities to report that a person was lying in a green area, next to the dual carriageway in this area in the north of the metropolitan area.

According to the information that has emerged so far, Mateo would have left his place of residence in Envigado, south of the Aburrá Valley, to a barbershop located in the San Antonio de Prado district, from Medellín, last Friday, June 14, but did not return.
