Logroño (EFE).- The LGTBI+ Pride march of La Rioja will depart on the 29th from Logroño’s Market Square to demand respect with the aim of “living together without closets or prejudices” and will be preceded by a week of leisure activities and culture to “make visible the realities of the collective.”

This was stated this Tuesday by the president of the Gylda LGTBI+ association, Ruth García, in an information conference to present the events organized by this entity to commemorate International LGTBI+ Pride Day, which will be celebrated on the 28th.

García specified that this year’s programming has education as its common thread, in line with other state LGTBI+ entities, since this is “crucial for an inclusive and respectful society, reducing prejudices and promoting respect and understanding among all citizens.” ”.

“Other pillars come together in education, such as respect for diversity, peace and civil rights, which will be present in this year’s demands,” indicated the president of Gylda LGTBI+, who stated that “it is essential to raise the voice in solidarity with those who face war, injustice and discrimination.”

Morrete Fest

Bárbara Reina de la Pantaloneta has indicated that one of the strong points of the Rioja Pride programming will be the celebration of the Morrete Fest, which will take place on the 21st and 22nd in the Revellín Parking with free concerts.
