In dialogue with Canal Nine Litoralthe president of the CET, Juan Acedo, mentioned that “the same weekend last year we had an occupancy of 65%, and now it was 39%, with the difference that we have an XXL weekend next.”
“We believe that this number is very modest, but we did not expect much more because there were not many inquiries or reservations,” Acedo remarked.
In turn, he referred to the province as a tourist destination: “The location is very important, we have very developed destinations in Argentina, but with the high costs of flights or fuel, it benefits us as a destination.”
For the extra long weekend, for his part, he said: “The number of inquiries increased, tomorrow we will close the reservation percentages, but we believe it will have an attractive number for us,” Acedo mentioned.
