The Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, held two meetings this afternoon with the governors of Misiones, Hugo Passalacqua; and from Santa Cruz, Claudio Vidal, to sign various agreements that stipulate the transfer and collaboration in matters of public works, education and housing.
According to the agreements, the Nation will transfer to each province various water works, construction or expansion of school buildings and housing, which will be continued by the provincial administrations. On the other hand, the national government committed to executing another set of strategic works with a high degree of progress.
The secretary of Provinces and Municipalities, Javier Milano, participated in the meetings; the Secretary of Public Works, Luis Giovine; the Secretary of Territorial Development, Habitat and Housing, Rodrigo Aybar; the Undersecretary of Habitat and Housing, Santiago Sánchez Sorondo; the head of ENOHSA, Bartolomé Heredia; the Undersecretary of Administrative Management of the Ministry of Education, María Inés Borgin Alba; and the Minister of Economy of Santa Cruz, Marilina Jaramillo.
In recent weeks, the national government signed agreements of similar characteristics with the provinces of Catamarca, Chaco, Chubut, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, Mendoza, Neuquén, Salta and Tucumán.
