Last Friday, June 14the Attorney General’s Office revealed a list of 25 assets and several photos of properties valued at more than 3,000 million pesos that are linked to an investigation for alleged corruption in the public entity, Metroparques, during the administration of Daniel Quintero.
According to the criteria of
three days beforeLiliana Donado, prosecutor 53 of the Specialized Domain Forfeiture Directorate, ordered precautionary embargo measures on several companies linked to the same file, including Structures Zafiro SAS and another called 1Soluciones SAS, the latter with more than 1,700 million pesos of assets.

Although the case is advanced under reservation – in the eighth municipal criminal court with guarantee control function of Medellín – EL TIEMPO established that one of the most striking assets seized is a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon double cabin, registered at the Medellín Transit Secretariat on December 29, 2022.
Indeed, In the middle of the Christmas holidays, the marketing company JPino SAS acquired the vehicle that has an import date of December 14 of that same year. and an appraisal close to 370 million pesos.
The legal representative of that company is Juan Alexander Pino Jaramillo, a native of Yarumal and a regular Metroparques contractor.
Marketing JPino SAS is a firm in the textile sector, established in 2019, which signed several contracts with this entity for around 3,500 million pesos. Some of these appear linked to the so-called Parque de las Aguas.

Besides contracts with Metroparques, Juan Alexander Pino Jaramillo, also appears signing supply certificates of hardware items to Lilibeth Lorena Pino Jaramillo, who turned out to be his sister.
The young woman, also from Yarumal, is behind the company 1Soluciones SAS, which also signed contracts with Metroparques for 1,131 million pesos.
And there is a third company linked to this group – Structures Zafiro SAS – that received contracts for 848 million pesos.

On January 18, the Prosecutor’s Office General of the Nation, charged Juan Alexander Pino and two senior officials of Metroparques – Jorge Enrique Liévano Ospina and María Eugenia Domínguez Castañeda – for alleged embezzlement by appropriation, contracts without compliance with legal requirements, association to commit crimes against the public administration and undue interest in the execution of contracts.
According to research, carried out by a prosecutor from the Crimes against the Public Administration unit of Medellín, alleged cost overruns in billing were also found, and companies that were really made of paper. One of those 1SAS Solutions.
What is now being investigated is that, After the investigations began, those involved would have tried to erase their trace in these companies, passing them on to third parties.
Indeed, Lilibeth Lorena Pino no longer appears among the directors of 1Soluciones SAS, but she does register signing documents at the Chamber of Commerce. However, EL TIEMPO found her name in documents of the Comercializadora JPino SAS where she registers as a founding partner. The Prosecutor’s Office has already obtained a copy of these documents at Notary Office 14 in Medellín.

To the researchers too It has caught their attention that, apparently, Juan Alexander Pino was not traveling in the 370 million Jeep of pesos that appears in the name of the Comercializadora JPino SAS.
The Metroparques contractor He appears traveling in a white Hyundai Tucson iX35GL truck, 2013 model, and on a BMW R 1250 GS ADVENTURE motorcycle, storm black metallic, 2021 model. The latter appears among the seized assets. In his networks he also appears riding other motorcycles.
On the research, the Prosecutor’s Office has already checked his assets and is investigating how they obtained them. An apartment located in the Portal del Parque residential complex in the Tricentenario neighborhood is searched for Juan Pino and another located in the Caldas neighborhood in Medellín. And, for Lilibeth Pino, she searches an apartment in Sopetrán, Antioquia.

In fact, also Other assets of Alexander Pino’s partner are being investigated. One of them is the company Inversiones Jupisan SAS, which is the abbreviation of one close to the couple, and the Capital Antioqueña restaurant.
EL TIEMPO contacted Juan Alexander Pino who said: “I am going to be very sincere, I am not interested in giving any type of statement or clarity about the facts. The Prosecutor’s Office and the justice system will act at the time and explain the facts”.
This diary asked him to provide the contact of his lawyer to know the judicial position, but he refrained from giving the number.
