This is the same violent event that occurred in the early hours of Monday the 17th in Coyhaique.

A call to 133 for a dispute on Trapananda and Los Fiordos Streets prompted the Carabineros to attend the scene, finding an abandoned vehicle with damage to its structure.

The personnel were deployed in the vicinity of the sector, managing to find three people who would have been victims of this attack. One of these had visible injuries on the forehead caused by a knife, an element that was found by Carabineros and subjected to expert reports, as part of the first procedures.

As part of the above, Carabineros provided assistance to the victim and transferred him to the Coyhaique Regional Hospital, where the victim refused both to receive medical attention and to report the crime; however, Carabineros made the report through an official letter to the Prosecutor’s Office.

In the same health facility there was another person who was also being treated for attacks caused by the fight. This person also refused to make a complaint about the incident.

As part of the autonomous proceedings, IAPA Carabineros collected camera images.

According to the first investigations, the alleged aggressors would correspond to a group of members of the band calling itself Los Tule.

A few days ago, part of this gang was arrested by Carabineros de Coyhaique for robbery with violence and kidnapping.

The background of the procedure was sent to the Prosecutor’s Office, with the proceedings being referred to the PDI in order to find the perpetrators of this incident.

Subjects fled the scene, leaving the vehicle crashed in a town in Coyhaique.
