The Minister of Economy Luis Caputo came to Neuquén and this Wednesday he had a meeting with Governor Rolando Figueroa. The visit was not officially announcedsomething similar that happened when the owner of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello.
This same month, on June 6, both officials met to talk about the reactivation of public works in Neuquén, a meeting that took place one day after the governor’s agreement with the Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, in the middle of the debate on the Bases Law. Among the efforts, the provincial Executive mentioned the works in hospitals and Child Development Centers (CDI), water works, sanitation and urban improvement, routes and roads, among others.
At the moment, no further details were known about this Wednesday’s meeting between Figueroa and Caputo.
«It is the first time since 2008 that 5 consecutive months of financial surplus. This result was achieved without the fiscal chapter of the Base Law having been approved in the period considered, and reaffirms the Government’s commitment to financial balance in 2024,” the Minister of Economy said yesterday on his social networks.

As happened with the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello, who came last April, the arrival of Luis Caputo was not reported by official sources. The minister on that occasion andwas in the Government House and went through thefacilities of the YPF company that it owns in Loma Campanain the heart of Vaca Muerta.

President Yesterday Javier Milei defended his Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo. «Nobody is going to violate the achievements, nobody, that is, nobody, would use a more vulgar and rude term…. “No one is going to touch Caputo’s ass,” Milei highlighted.
In dialogue with TN he maintained that “He is the best Minister of Economy in history” Argentina and pointed out that he has a “symbiotic relationship”.
He said that if anyone tried anything against Caputo, “I don’t care, I cut his hand.”
