Starting on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, due to works of the Avellaneda Comprehensive Project – Section V and which are also being carried out on the Mathus Hoyos lane, in the Bermejo district, a traffic cut will be carried out in the lane section Mathus Hoyos between Gallardo and Avellaneda, where the renewal of water networks will be carried out for the subsequent refunctionalization of the lane.
This cut is in addition to other sections that are already closed. Therefore, the following sections of streets will be closed to traffic:
- Mathus Hoyos between Gallardo and Avellaneda.
- Mathus Hoyos between De la Torre and Aristóbulo del Valle.
- Avellaneda between Dante Alighieri and Vieytes.
In this new section, which involves and adds more than 200 linear meters of comprehensive works, the complete renovation of the water network is also planned. This initiative aims to recover roads in this sector, characterized by high vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Enabled detours: which paths to choose
It is detailed that the detour of Mathus Hoyos in the West – East direction is as follows: Mathus Hoyos – Gallardo – Chiclana – Avellaneda – Mathus Hoyos – L. de la Torre – Avelino Maure – Aristóbulo del Valle – Mathus Hoyos.
In the East – West direction the following: Mathus Hoyos – Aristóbulo del Valle – Avelino Maure – Araujo – Mathus Hoyos.
In addition, it is reported that the section of Aristóbulo del Valle street between Mathus Hoyos and A. Maure will be opened to traffic.
