The Ministry of Culture, Inclusion and Community Management, through the Undersecretary of Culture, reported the closing of the call for exhibition projects at the Alberdi Cultural Center and the House of Cultures.

The stage ended on June 14 and now the jury, in charge of selecting works, will have to evaluate about 70 projects from different locations in the province until July 1. The Undersecretary of Culture reported that in the week following this date the results will be published and the selected artists will be informed by email.

About the jury

It is made up of visual artists: Julieta Sacchi, teacher, Curator and Gallery Owner, graduated from the “Manuel Belgrano” Higher School of Fine Arts in that city. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and collective projects in Patagonia. She was selected in all editions of the Neuquén Contemporary Biennial and participated in the exhibition “Para todos tode” at the Haroldo Conti Cultural Center (CABA) and “Sala Propia” at MNBA, among other activities.

Marina Vago, Higher Professor of Visual Arts with a specialty in Drawing and Painting; She graduated from the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Neuquén, and currently works as part of the management team at said institution.

Estefanía Petersen, who studied History of Visual Art at the Faculty of Fine Arts of La Plata. He worked as a room guide at the MNBA Neuquén headquarters and participated as a jury in the Itaú National Visual Arts Award, 2012/13 editions of Banco Itaú and provincial salons in La Pampa and Chubut, and as a room guide and person in charge of the Art Room IMAGO from the OSDE Foundation, Neuquén headquarters.

She held management positions at the state level as director of Heritage Programs and Projects, area coordinator of the provincial directorate of Cultural Heritage and academic secretary of the Experimental School of Contemporary Dance, among others.
