Mona Jiménez has suspended her concert in Mendoza due to a hospitalization for acute gastroenteritis, as announced by the event organizers. The show was scheduled for next Saturday the 22nd at the Aconcagua Arena stadium, but has been rescheduled for July 13. The tickets purchased will be valid for the new date.

Music Mix, ProShow and Universo Jiménez, organizations in charge of the event, issued an official statement on Wednesday afternoon confirming the decision. In said statement, they explained that La Mona Jiménez needed immediate medical attention, which forced the suspension of the show.

The news also included details about the logistics of the rescheduled event and clarified that all tickets already purchased can be used on the new date without the need to make any additional changes. La Mona Jiménez, popularly known as the “king of the quartet,” is expected to fully recover for the new performance.

The singer’s hospitalization was due to acute gastroenteritis that required hospital care, the organizers indicated.
