The National School of Environmental Educators is a program aimed at adolescents between 15 and 18 years old, who want to learn more about the climate crisis, solutions and ways to be part of it.

It is a 100% free program that consists of weekly meetings for 3 months where they will learn skills to become multiplying agents of environmental education. Its main objective is to strengthen the capacities of youth to demand and provide environmental education to generate transformations.

It will be held from August 6 to November 9, taking place simultaneously in the cities and surroundings of Buenos Aires, San Miguel de Tucumán and Neuquén, generating a national network of young environmental educators and promoting leadership in each place. Apart from training for three months on issues of Climate Change, Human Rights and Non-Formal Education, to finish the program students must choose how they will feel most comfortable bringing knowledge about the climate crisis to their community by carrying out impact projects: a workshop for your school, a communication campaign, or an environmental commission in your student center. In any of the options they will receive mentoring and support for their execution.

It also includes a two-day camp, per location, to strengthen ties between students. And there will be experiential visits to a green space to learn about native biodiversity and conservation, and another visit to a cooperative of urban recyclers to learn about waste management and the circular economy.

This is an impact project designed by Jóvenes por el Clima Argentina, Alerta Celsius, and will be carried out with the support of the ProYungas Foundation and UNICEF.
