The community fears possible confrontations between the Clan del Golfo and other criminal structures in the area

In the last few hours, what would be a pamphlet issued by the Clan del Golfo in the regions of Eastern Antioquia and Magdalena Medio went viral. According to the document, the Gener Morales Front is the one who would have sent said message to the inhabitants of the municipalities of these subregions, generating anxiety and panic in the community.

What the supposed pamphlet itself indicates is that, if they notice interference from other groups in what they call their territory, a confrontation could occur, which is why they are emphatic in warning that they will not allow the presence of local gangs.

“Our men stationed in rural and urban areas have the permanent order to control, neutralize, and confront militarily all groups that try to invade Eastern Antioquia and that affect the peace and well-being of its inhabitants,” says the alleged pamphlet.

So far there is no statement from the authorities regarding what this Gulf Clan pamphlet would be. For its part, the community is afraid, and expects a prompt response from the entities in charge.
