Vía Morro – Labranzagrande also threatens to collapse » PRENSA LIBRE CASANARE

In the sector known as “San Filón”, on the road that connects the El Morro Corregimiento with Labranzagrande, a bench collapse was recorded, generating a critical passage in the road, as a consequence of the gradual undermining of the flow of the Cravo Sur River to the slope, which makes the section a dangerous point for the transit of large vehicles, according to the communities in the sector.

They claim that the passage at “San Filón” is not safe for trucks and buses due to the risk of overturning. Currently, only light vehicles and trucks can travel with some safety along this stretch.

The community requested the intervention of the entities to avoid a total closure, because this road is the only alternative communication with the center of the country, just when they closed the Cusiana road due to damage to the Chorro Blanco viaduct and the Transversal del Sisga has serious problems in several sections.

For the time being, the community has put up temporary signs to warn drivers of the danger. A prompt response from the competent authorities is expected to resolve this situation.
