The five men who will represent Cuba in the boxing tournament of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games traveled to France to close their preparation there.

In this sense, he commented that the organizers also extended invitations to the squads of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, India, Germany, England, Ireland and Puerto Rico, which will allow exchanges with high-ranking athletes and different styles.
As is known, the Cuban army is headed by two-time Olympic champions Julio César La Cruz (92 kg) and Arlen López (80 kg), and is completed by the world’s runners-up Saidel Horta (57 kg) and Erislandy Álvarez (63.5 kg). ), and the third at that level Alejandro Claro (51 kg).
The boxing event under the five rings will take place from July 27 to August 10, with seven divisions among men and five in the women’s sector.
Cuba, which did not obtain a place among the ladies, celebrated four titles in the previous edition and raised its historic balance to 41, complemented by 19 silver and 18 bronze medals.
