  • The winners of the program will have access to training, support and scaling capital of up to 40 million pesos.

Triple A presents the third version of the Innova Social program, an agile scaling initiative aimed at entrepreneurs in the Atlántico department that, on this occasion, has an exclusively socio-environmental focus.

Through this program, which has the support of the Santo Domingo Foundation, the aim is to develop competencies and skills in entrepreneurs, to generate opportunities for sustainable development in communities and territories, granting them access to scaling capital to execute a plan of investment or research.

“At Triple A we are clear that our objective in each of the stages of the program will be to identify, make visible and strengthen ventures led by inhabitants of Barranquilla and the Atlántico that have a high potential to positively impact their municipalities. We have successfully recorded the results of previous versions, and now we want to take a step forward with the implementation of a socio-environmental innovation program,” said Alix Castro, director of Social Capital at Triple A.

The spokesperson refers to the growth in sales of up to 600% registered by the ventures linked to the previous version of Innova Social 2.0. Castro pointed out that it is important for the organization to align with the city proposal that the Mayor of Barranquilla leads, and thus promote entrepreneurs whose initiatives are framed in the Sustainable Development Goals, which include topics such as the generation of clean water and sanitation, affordable and non-polluting energy, responsible production and consumption, as well as climate actions. Those interested can apply their ventures until July 6.

“One of the Territorial Development bets of the Santo Domingo Foundation is to promote high-impact projects that contribute to the economic development of Barranquilla and the Atlántico. That is why we are motivated to accompany entrepreneurs in Innova Social 3.0, strengthening their businesses through advice and technical training, so that they can develop new skills and acquire key knowledge for the growth of their ventures,” said José Bedoya Ramos, director. of Barranquilla Territorial Development of the Santo Domingo Foundation.

Innova Social 3.0 will focus on preselecting up to 50 entrepreneurs with business ideas related to socio-environmental issues. These entrepreneurs will be visited in their ventures to evaluate their proposals.

Then, 30 of them will be chosen to participate in a Bootcamp that will use the B2B model, including Design Thinking, Value Proposition Design, Business Model Canvas and Lean Startup. In this phase, participants will learn techniques to craft a winning pitch using Storytelling and Elevator Pitch with GUNS canvases. From this group, up to 15 ventures will be selected to advance to the final phase.

Finally, the 15 semi-finalist ventures will be presented in a pitch, and up to 10 will be chosen to receive scaling capital and support in the implementation of their investment plan and improvement of their business or research. The program will be carried out in a blended-hybrid modality, with individual and group spaces. The winners of the program will have access to training, support and scaling capital of up to 40 million pesos.

“In this version we will address topics such as the circular economy model, ethical and responsible consumption of ecosystem resources, as well as sustainable alternatives for smart mobility and reduction of CO2 emissions. With this new call we will continue to accompany, train and strengthen young, innovative entrepreneurs with a winning attitude, for the economic development of the city and the Atlantic,” Castro explained.

Entrepreneurs who wish to participate must apply by entering the website https://binnstart.app/convocatoria/1/innova-social-30.

The requirements to participate in the call are: to be led by people over 18 years of age, to have their business in operation for a period of more than 6 months established in Barranquilla or in one of the 14 municipalities of Triple A intervention.
