The Comercial activity in San Luis Potosi visualized a significant increase at an annual rate, compared to April 2023. This was reported by the INEGI in its Monthly Survey on Commercial Companies (EMEC).
At the national level, in April 2024, at a monthly rate and with seasonally adjusted figures, in the wholesale trading companies, real income from the supply of goods and services decreased 4.1% and real average remunerations paid, 1.3%. Total employed personnel grew 0.6%
Likewise, in the retail trading companies, real income from the supply of goods and services increased 0.5% and total employed personnel, 0.6%. Real average salaries fell 0.8%.
Commercial Activity Picks Up in San Luis Potosí in April 2024
With respect to San Luis Potosi, during that period, wholesale businesses established in the state increased their employed personnel by 2.3%. In addition, their salaries increased 4.8%.
Similarly, retail commercial companies had an increase of 6.4% in their income; They increased their staff by 3.1% and the amount of their salaries by 5.0%.
Wholesale:
- Employed staff: 2.3% increase
- Remunerations: 4.8% increase
Retail trade:
- Employed staff: 3.1%
- Remunerations: 5.0%
- Revenue: 6.4%
