Within the framework of the State Workers’ Day, the Municipality of The Silver Next Monday at 11 in the Golden Hall of the Municipal Palace, an act of historical reparation will be carried out, by restoring the files of two workers who disappeared during the last dictatorship.

The initiative is part of the framework of the launch of the Program for the repair and preservation of labor records of workers who are victims of State terrorismwho performed tasks as dependent agents of the Commune, institutionalized through file No. 4061-2025528/2024.

“This is a program that we embrace with fervor since it allows us to carry out an act of justice and institutional reparation with workers who carried out tasks in different areas of the municipality, and who during the civil-military dictatorship were kidnapped and disappeared for the sole reason of being a soldier. politically and socially, in pursuit of a more inclusive and supportive Argentina for all,” he highlighted. Alberto Perego was born on November 23, 1952 in Buenos Aires, he was a Peronist and Montonero militant. He worked as an employee at the La Plata Regional Market and was kidnapped on October 11, 1977, and since then he has joined the list of missing persons. He was able to be identified thanks to the fact that his son Omar went to have a sample taken at the Rossi Hospital in La Plata, in July 2022. His brother Carlos Damián Perego was 25 years old when he was kidnapped on July 29, 1976, along with three other neighbors who testify that the “Campo de Arana” was a clandestine detention center. Both worked in the Regional Market and were active in the “Churrasco” Basic Unit.
