The Colombia selection The U-17 women’s team will be in Group B of the category’s World Cup that will take place between October 16 and November 3, 2024 in the Dominican Republic.

For its part, the South Korean National Team managed to win the title in the 2010 edition. In the final they beat Japan on penalties, after tying 3-3 in regulation time. The round ended 5-4 in favor of the Koreans.
Meanwhile, USA finished runner-up in the first edition of the tournament. It was on New Zealand territory in 2008. That time the North Americans lost 2-1 in the final game against North Korea.
How many World Cups has Colombia played?
This will be the Colombia’s sixth participation in a women’s U-17 World Cup. Before, those led by Antioquia coach Carlos Paniagua were eliminated in the first phase in their first four participations.
