At around 3:00 last Friday, workers at the YPF Service Station located on Blas Parera and Brown in the city of Paraná observed the presence of a wild animal. It was confirmed to FM Station Plus Crespo Having confirmed that it was a Guazuncho and that it is protected at the provincial level, efforts were made to capture it, putting it under protection.
In the afternoon of Saturday, brigade members prepared to carry out the release of the specimen, taking place in the bathing area of the General San Martín Park, where they were received by a park ranger. This Protected Natural Area meets the necessary conditions for Guazuncho to develop its life in a natural environment according to its characteristics.
It is worth remembering that Guazuncho, also called Brown Corzuela, or Viracho, was declared a Natural Monument of Entre Ríos, so its preservation is widely legislated.
