Havana, June 23 (ACN) Electrical Union reported that this Saturday the service was affected due to a deficit in generation capacity in the SEN from 9:37 a.m. to 9:17 p.m.
The maximum impact on the day was 345 MW at 7:00 p.m., coinciding with peak hour.
The source adds that the availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 2,400 MW, the demand 2,020 MW, with the entire system with service. No impact is forecast for the midday schedule, although it will operate with low reserves.
Unit 2 of the CTE Felton and units 3 and 6 of the CTE Renté are in breakdown. Unit 1 of the CTE Santa Cruz is under maintenance.
The limitations on thermal generation are 404 WW.
39 distributed generation plants and the Regla plant are out of service due to fuel, for a total of 170 MW affected by this concept.
For the peak, the entry of Distributed Generation engines that are awaiting maintenance and their use is authorized with 85 MW, the entry of 3 engines from the Melones plateau with 50 MW and the entry of unit 6 of the CTE Renté (in the start-up process) with 60 MW.
With this forecast, an availability of 2,595 MW and a maximum demand of 2,750 MW are estimated for peak hour, for a deficit of 155 MW, so if the forecast conditions continue, an impact of 225 MW is forecast during this time.
