Health problems again in the British Royal Family. Princess Anne, sister of King Charles III, is admitted to Bristol hospital after suffering a domestic accident on the Gatcombe Park estate. Apparently, she was hit on the head by a horse while walking this Sunday afternoon, which caused a concussion and minor injuries, as reported this Monday, June 24, by Buckingham Palace.

“Her Royal Highness is stable and remains admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure to continue under observation,” said a spokesperson for the Royal Family. They have also explained that they expect her to make a full recovery in a few days.

King Charles III has already been informed of the incident involving his sister, with whom he has a close relationship and to whom he has sent his love and all his good wishes so that she recovers as soon as possible. It should be noted that she was the one who assumed some of her duties when the monarch was receiving his cancer treatment and attended several events that were scheduled.

Princess Anne (73 years old) is the only daughter of Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh and has two children, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips. She is a great lover of the equestrian world and has already suffered some accidents throughout her life. In 1988 she suffered a fall from a horse but she was able to get up on her own two feet and she did not suffer any incidents.

In fact, in the Trooping the Color military parade, last June 15, she could be seen on the back of a horse. In it, Kate Middleton reappeared, and she took the opportunity to confirm that she continues with the preventive chemotherapy treatment that she began in March and will continue in the coming months. She also announced her presence at the so-called Sovereign’s Birthday Parade and her desire to participate in other public events during the summer. Still, she left evidence of her temporary fragility.
