He Entre Ríos Absolute Superior Championship 2024 will be held in the city of Colon, bringing together the greatest exponents of provincial chess. This event, organized by the Entre Ríos Chess Federation (FEDA) and the Sports Directorate of the Municipality of Colónwill pay tribute to all the provincial champions who have won the title over the years since the founding of the Federation.

Cristian Parrilla, president of the Board of Directors of FEDAhighlighted that the Federation works intensely for the growth of chess throughout the province, promoting this inclusive discipline in all its aspects and for all ages.

History of the Entre Ríos champions

Since 1975, the title of Absolute Superior Champion of Entre Ríos has been disputed by prominent chess players from the province. Names such as Mario Valentinuz, Fernando Casas, Roberto Chapado, Abel Ruíz, Alejandro Iglesias, Raúl Costa, Iván Pesuto, Marcelo Ayala, Martín Daneri, Agustín Lares, Matías Landívar, Gastón Magallán, Israel Ledezma and Diego Cornejo, among others, have left their mark mark in the history of Entre Ríos chess.

The Entrerriana Chess Federation invites all players to participate in the contest that will bring together the best chess players in the province in search of the new Entrerriano Champion 2024.
