Agents of the Córdoba Federal Operational Unit Division seized large quantity of firearms and tactical knives in the northwest area of the capital city. Through investigative tasks, which began with clues to find a stolen cell phone, the officers raided a home in the General Bustos neighborhoodowned by two elderly people.
During the search of the property, two Glock brand firearms, 9mm caliber, were seized, one of them with a scope; a DGFM brand pistol; a Smith & Wesson 40 caliber pistol; a Daisy brand compressed air revolver, caliber 4.5mm; two Bersa brand firearms; a 9mm caliber firearm; a 22mm caliber firearm; a Taurus brand revolver, silver, 44 magnum caliber; a Custer brand revolver, silver, caliber 3; a Remington 870 long shotgun, caliber 1270; a model 586 shotgun; a Ruger brand carbine, black, 9mm caliber; and 16 tactical and big game knives.
In addition, the agents confiscated 2,000 ammunition, 1,500 cases, 60 magazines of different calibers, a bag of 500 tips for 38 caliber reloading, a ballistic vest, a handi radio, a night vision scope and tools for loading cartridges.
It should be noted that the majority of the weapons had the numbering filed or adulterated, as well as some missing the corresponding numbering.
The seized items were placed at the disposal of Federal Court No. 1 of the province of Córdoba.
