In response to the holding of different and important meetings in both Chambers, and for the benefit of a good parliamentary organization, the vice governor of the province of Santa Fe, Gisela Scaglia (PRO), president of the Chamber of Senators, in agreement with the senators and senator, summoned the territorial representatives for Thursday, June 27, 2024.

And, similarly, in the other Chamber (Chamber of Deputies), Deputy Clara García (PS), president of the legislative body, in agreement with the deputies, and for the same reasons, proceeded to the corresponding call and resolved to meet on Thursday, June 27, 2024 and, thus, comply with the 5th session of “Deputies” of the 142nd Period, as will also happen in the Senate.

Previously, starting at 1:00 p.m. on said Thursday, June 27, 2024, the Legislative Assembly session will be held to process six (6) documents sent by the Executive Branch for the designation of two (2) Chief Prosecutors and four (4) Deputy Prosecutors of the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPA) – Judicial District No. 2 – Headquarters in the city of Rosario.

Furthermore, this Tuesday, June 25, at 10:30, in the Agreements Room of the Chamber of Deputies, under the presidency of Senator Rodrigo Borla (UCR-San Justo), president of the Constitutional Affairs and General Legislation commission of the Senate, and the vice-presidency of deputy Pablo Farías (PS), president of the same commission of the Chamber of Deputies, The analysis commission of the Santa Fe pension system will meet for the 2nd time.

In this second meeting of the aforementioned special commission, progress will be made in organizational aspects and, in addition, it will seek to dictate its internal regulations, with the presence of seven (7) senators: Rodrigo Borla, Esteban Motta (UCR-San Martín), Hugo Jesús Rasetto (UCR-Iriondo), Oscar Dolzani (UCR-San Javier), Joaquín Raúl Gramajo (UNITE-9 de Julio), Rubén Pirola (PJ-Las Colonias) and Alcides Calvo (PJ-Castellanos); eight (8) deputies: Pablo Farías, José Corral (UCR), Astrid Hummel (UCR), Rubén Galassi (PS), Gisel Mahmud (PS), Beatriz Brouwer (SV), Walter Agosto (PJ) and Natalia Armas Belavi (VF); four (4) representatives of the Executive Branch: José Boasso, Alicia Berzero, Malena Azario and Julia Tonero; and four (4) representatives of the provincial public unions: UPCN (Jorge Molina), AMSAFE (Rodrigo Alonso), ATE (Patricia Rudel) and FESTRAM (Ignacio Monzón).

Representatives of the rest of the unions that have links with the Provincial State and, also, other organizations, specialists, national officials and academics will be invited to the meeting so that, within a period of 45 days, extendable for the same period of time , draft a report on the sustainability of the pension system that will be submitted to the Provincial Executive Branch.

Also, the Wednesday, June 26, 2024, the Legislative Assembly Agreements Commission will interview the 6 applicants for Principal and Deputy Prosecutors of Judicial District No. 2 based in Rosario.

In addition, the internal permanent commissions of both legislative bodies will intensify their activity and analyze, with the aim of ruling favorably, the different initiatives that have requested preferential treatment and, likewise, other matters for, in this case, their probable consideration on boards.

And, in this regard, in the case of the Chamber of Senators, for the 5th ordinary session of the current 142nd Period on Thursday, June 27, 2024, it has several agreed Preferences, among them one (1) from Armando Traferri (PJ-San Lorenzo) and two (2) from Rubén Pirola.

Regarding the Chamber of Deputies, it has several matters with a request for preferential treatment for the 5th session of the 142nd Ordinary Period of Sessions that will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, case of the Bill (File 52001 CD) by Claudia Balagué (FAS ), by which an independent provincial commission is created to investigate the truth and reparation for crimes of sexual violence suffered in childhood and adolescence; and, in addition, many others, as well as those from the Senate with a medium sanction who, although they do not have a request for preferential treatment, would be sanctioned on tables in rapid processing, in the case of the modifications to Law No. 2439 (Communes Law) to that what happened in the communes of Cañada Ombú and Golondrina is not repeated and that the popular will is respected in the appointment of the communal authorities, authored by Senator Osvaldo Sosa (PJ-Vera); among other matters.

It is clarified that in said Chamber of Deputies the Bill (File 47679 PS) with modifications to Law No. 13,013 (Public Ministry of Accusation), by Deputy Lionella Cattalini (PS), is still being studied by the internal committees; the Bill (File 52777 PE) (Message 5064) of the Executive Branch with modifications to Law No. 13,014 of the Provincial Public Service of Criminal Defense (SPPDP); and other initiatives, some of them from the Executive Branch (Maximiliano Pullaro) and the rest of the deputies, considering that since the opening of the 142nd Ordinary Period of Sessions, more than 250 Bills have been submitted.

It is presumed, admitting parliamentary evidence to the contrary, that based on the meeting of the Public Works and Services Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, convened for this Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., the final sanction of the Message 5107 (File 53930 PER) from the Executive Branch, which has half a sanction from the Senate since May 23, 2024, by which A state of emergency is declared until December 31, 2024 for the provision of the public service of drinking water, drainage and sanitation by ASSA (Aguas Santafesinas Sociedad Anónima), extendable only once for a period of 12 months.

So, There will be sessions in this Santa Fe Legislature on Thursday, June 27, 2024 and, also, a session of the Legislative Assembly. And, likewise, a new meeting in the Chamber of Deputies Agreements Room this Tuesday, June 25, 2024, starting at 10:30, the 2nd of the pension system analysis commission, as detailed above; as well as on Wednesday, June 26, the interview in the Legislative Assembly Agreements Commission with the 6 applicants to occupy positions of Principal and Deputy Prosecutors.

Therefore, This Thursday, June 27, 2024, parliamentary activity will be total and varied, since at 1:00 p.m. a session of the Legislative Assembly will be held to process six (6) documents and, subsequently, both Chambers will meet: Senate and Chamber of Deputies, starting at 3:00 p.m.
