In the arms of Mijaín López, Idalys Ortiz, Omara Durand and Robiel Yankiel Sol, the flag of the Lone Star will parade, free and sovereign, in Paris, which from July 26 will host the XXXIII edition of the Olympic Games and the XVII of the Paralympics, is starting August 28.

Mijaín and Idalys, medalists in the last four events, will carry, along with the Cuban flag, the feelings of a country that does not stop fighting or creating to win. Both glorify the history of Cuban sports.

Omara and Robiel will team up with the national banner in the event for athletes with disabilities. They are Paralympic and world champions, as well as record holders. That they go to the front is an honor for the inhabitants of this Caribbean island.

With Mijaín, Idalys, Omara and Robiel, the tricolor flag that we worthy Cubans defend will travel safely to Paris. On its golden arms the glorious pages that all our representatives will write in the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic games are guaranteed.
