Sa Unió says that no proposal from Córdoba is “serious or credible”

FORMENTERA, June 25 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Sa Unió coalition believes that none of the proposals formulated by the president of the Formentera Council, Llorenç Córdoba, “are neither serious nor credible,” and that “definitive solutions are needed” to resolve the political crisis unleashed in the institution.

After the proposal raised by Córdoba for the councilors to return after their resignation, in a statement, Sa Unió has stressed that Córdoba has had six months to try to fix the crisis “and it did not want to.” This is why, they remember, the coalition councilors took the step of resigning “and with him there is no turning back.”

Furthermore, in Sa Unió they believe that the president’s latest approach “is a desperate proposal after at the Spokesperson’s Meeting on Friday the political groups expressed that Llorenç Córdoba is the problem of the ungovernability of the Island.”

He has also reiterated that it is up to him for Sa Unió to continue governing. “Córdoba can continue to be the problem or it can be the solution if he resigns today and lets us work,” he concluded.
