With the purpose of obtaining a specialized concept to know what will be the definitive works to be carried out in the emergency sector of the Cúcuta – Ocaña road corridor, the National Road Institute -Invías- awarded the consulting and auditing contracts to the companies Consorcio Estudios 2024 and Brain Ingeniería Vial SAS, respectively.
Within the scope of the consultancy is the comprehensive diagnosis of the study corridor, including the diagnosis of the existing infrastructure and studies and designs for phase III of the works and interventions necessary for the stabilization, protection or containment of critical or instability sites and those associated with the infrastructure of the corridor under study.
The investment to carry out the consultancy in the “El Tarrita” sector, between km 47 and km 53 of the road corridor is $846,220,900, while the resources allocated to the audit are $279,723,780, for a total investment of $1,125 millions.
For the merit contest of the consulting process, 25 offers were received, while 21 interested firms were presented to carry out the audit.
In this way, the Government of Change seeks social, environmental and economic justice through roads that promote better walkability, dynamization of the economy and the promotion of tourism, reported the deputy director of Infrastructure Planning of Invías, Sirley Merchán Carreño.
