According to the report, in the fourth month of the year it was estimated 2.8 million overnight stays in hotel and parahotel establishments. Overnight stays by resident travelers and non-resident travelers registered a decrease of 23.5% and 19.7%, respectively

According to the tourist regions, CABA concentrated the highest percentage of overnight stays in the month with 24.4%; followed by Patagonia, with 21.3%. The overnight stays of resident travelers were distributed mainly between the Patagonia regions, which concentrated 21.4%; Buenos Aires, 15.6%; and CABA, 15.1%.

CABA was preferred by non-resident travelers: accounted for 54.7% of the total overnight stays. It was followed by Patagonia, with 20.8%.

The total number of hosted travelers was 1.3 million and had a negative variation of 19.7% compared to the same month of the previous year. The number of resident travelers decreased 19.7% and the number of non-residents decreased 20.0%. 77.5% of the hosted travelers were residents.

The tourist regions that hosted the largest number of travelers were CABA, with 303,361 guests, and Patagonia, with 258,813. The most visited locations by region were: Mar del Plata (Buenos Aires), with 63,124; El Calafate (Patagonia), with 51,717; Puerto Iguazú (Litoral), with 47,862; city of Mendoza (Cuyo), with 38,833; city of Salta (North), with 33,848; and city of Córdoba (Córdoba), with 29,958.
