The uniformed officers who answered the call verified that Vidal Reinel had wounds with a sharp weapon that would have been caused by Paola Pérez Vergara, for which she was arrested for the crime of personal injury.

“I believe that in this case the Prosecutor’s Office did not act; having sufficient evidence, such as her confession at the time she committed this act with my son,” said Marleny Aguiar, mother of the young man murdered at Caracol News.
Aguiar also pointed out to the aforementioned media that the alleged aggressor sent him text messages: “She communicated asking for forgiveness from me and the aunts.”
