The Chilean National Team will play a final against Canada on the last date of the group stage of the Copa América. A victory for La Roja allows them to qualify for the next round of the competition, as long as Peru does not defeat Argentina. Conmebol confirmed the referee appointments for the third date in Groups A and B of the Copa América. A measure by which, in the duel that will have Chile as the protagonist against Canada, there will be the presence of Colombians, the vast majority of them to dispense sporting justice.

Chile’s triumphs with Roldán as match referee were in the 2015 Copa América final against Argentina, where La Roja won four to one on penalties, after drawing zero to zero. And, the other match in which a victory is considered was October 13, 2023 when they defeated Peru by two to zero in the Qualifiers.
Roldán has only sent off a La Roja player once in the records contemplated. This was in 2015 when he gave Jorge Valdivia a direct red card in the loss against Uruguay by three to zero in Montevideo for the Qualifiers.
