The UR approves for this year an ambitious public employment offer of 62 positions, 38 free shift

The University of La Rioja has approved an ambitious public employment offer for this year, which is made up of a total of 62 positions, 60 of which correspond to teaching and research staff and two to technical, management, administration and services staff.

According to what the Official Gazette of La Rioja (BOR) published this Friday, 38 are free shifts and 24 are internal promotions. The replacement rate amounts to 20 personnel: 18 positions for teaching and research staff and two for management and administration and services technicians.

Among the offer of 38 free shift places, 36 are for teachers and researchers, of which two are intended for people with accredited disabilities and three for the incorporation of research personnel who have enjoyed a Program to Incentive the Incorporation and Intensification of the Research Activity or who has obtained the certificate as an established researcher.

Likewise, another of the agreements adopted by the Governing Council of the UR consists of announcing 24 internal promotion positions for career civil servants of the University Professors Corps who have provided, at least, two years of effective service in their original position, for access to the University Professors Corps, provided in the statement of expenses of the 2024 budget.

These internal promotion positions may not exceed the maximum number of positions that are the subject of the Public Employment Offer of free shift, in that same year, for access to the teaching bodies and Permanent Labor Teaching Staff.
