According to the authorities, 11,400 grams of narcotic substances were also seized.
Through investigative work, personnel assigned to the SSection of Criminal Investigation, Sijín, under the coordination of the 61st District Attorney’s Office, Barranquillamanaged to capture Andres Berdugo22 years old; Jean Suarezonly 18 years old; Deivis Cabarcas46 years old and Javier Corro, of 23, for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying of narcotics.
The arrests of these individuals allegedly dedicated to drug trafficking were made possible thanks to four search and seizure proceedings that took place in the municipality of SabanalargaAtlantic. It is believed that their work also extended to nearby towns.
“It took stealthy investigative work, testimony and follow-up actions to achieve the seizure of 11,400 grams of marijuana,” the armed institution said.
Likewise, the authorities reported that “with the control of this structure it is expected to reduce the insecurity index in the municipality of Sabanalargaaffecting the trafficking of illicit substances, which ranges from approximately twelve thousand doses per month, with an average value of $22,000,000 million pesos.”
Those captured were left at the disposal of the Office of the Attorney General for him crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics.
