On the afternoon of this Saturday, June 29, the commander of the Police in Putumayo, Colonel Wilson Gilberto Barrios Perdomo, provided details about the dismantling of a network dedicated to drug trafficking.
An elite group of police – including Sijin and Intelligence – carried out four search and seizure operations in Mocoa in properties located in the Primero de Enero, Las Américas, José Homero and Olímpico neighborhoods.
During the course of the same, the capture by court order of five people was carried out, for thethe crime of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics.
During the actions of the authorities, three mobile devices and cash were seized.
5 people were captured.

According to the investigation, Colonel Barrios said, those arrested were apparently engaged in the sale of narcotic substances at home, in bars, resorts, parks, nightclubs, and farms.
In these places, clandestine parties are held with the participation of minors, providing substances such as marijuana, cocaine hydrochloride and synthetic drugs (tussi, ecstasy and poppers.
Along these lines, the Police Commander in Putumayo invited the community to continue reporting the presence of people who promote drug trafficking in the different municipalities of the department of Putumayo.
