According to the organizers, the balance left is favorable with more than 200 bilateral meetings, with the participation of a hundred Cuban entities and twenty foreign ones.

The event was confirmed as a space of opportunities for exchange between entrepreneurs, recognition of products and services, business alliances, along with the signing of contracts of intention to invest and buy and sell.

Examples of this include Dominican companies that are members of the Association of Merchants and Industrialists (ACIS), and Cuban companies such as Productora de Piensos and Industrial del Comercio Interior.

Other steps towards supply agreements, promotion, alliances and more were taken by the provincial delegation of the Ministry of Tourism, the Bahamian project Cubahama, as well as the La Estrella breweries from the Dominican Republic and Hatuey from Santiago de Cuba.

In the midst of the complex economic situation that the country is going through, the province of Santiago de Cuba, host of the meeting, opted to maintain the Fair and promote commercial relations between the nations of the Caribbean region, as well as others.

Those who came this far did so aware of what that purpose represents and presented with total quality and rigor, recognized with various awards awarded in categories such as Quality, Technological Innovation, Communication, Design and that of the Organizing Committee.

In that order, the awards went to the roof system with multi-layer production, from Ondutil Italiana Spa; BRASARDE charcoal, from the Santiago Agroforestry Company Gran Piedra Baconao; the Caney Añejo Centuria Rum from Cuba Ron SA; the cooked ham, from the Holguín Meat Company; Perla Negra malt, from the Bucanero SA brewery, as well as Isla Grande rum, from the Cubaron SA Corporation

Also distinguished were Eastern Pharmaceutical Laboratories (LBF); the Telecommunications Company (ETECSA); the Granma Construction Materials Company; BOJ, with the Chef and Dish casserole; the modular industrial kitchen system, from Retomed; the BORMEY hard nougat system; and the entities Havana Club Internacional, Cervecería Bucanero SA and the Commercial Office of Trinidad and Tobago Export T&T.
