Representatives of the Municipal Government of San Luis Potosí reaffirmed the importance of the twinning between San Luis and McAllen

Within the framework of the tenth anniversary of the twinning between the cities of San Luis Capital and McAllen, Texas, Municipal officials met with the delegation from the American city and members of the San Luis Potosí Automotive Cluster AC, and Index.
Representatives of the Municipal Government of San Luis Potosí reaffirmed the importance of the twinning between San Luis and McAllen, to develop different cooperation actions, especially aimed at the areas of trade, investment and business.
Likewise, the director of Municipal Tourism, Claudia Lorena Peralta Antiga; the Director of Economic Development, Jaime Chalita Zarur, and the Director of Sister Cities, Mario Leal Campos, agreed that this type of approach facilitates business and government meetings whose purpose is to encourage economic exchange and business development between both metropolises.
Taking the floor, McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos emphasized that the American city has developed excellent relations with international partners. For his part, Luis Alberto González, Managing Director of the Automotive Cluster, presented data and figures of the automotive sector in Mexico and San Luis Potosí, in addition to exposing the areas of opportunity that our city and State offers in relation to nearshoring.
