The 19th edition of the ExpoCaribe International Fair closed its doors this Saturday, demonstrating its vitality and importance, mainly for eastern Cuba, as well as “solidity and maturity in the preparation of Cuban businessmen in their advertising, marketing and communication strategies. “They have presented important launches of products, services, pairings, as well as planning, marketing and design,” as Antonio Carricarte Corona, President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba, stated in its closing.
According to the organizers, this year’s Fair exceeded expectations with the participation of some 300 entities, together with the new players in the Cuban economy on equal terms, and nearly thirty countries, with 221 meetings held by 124 Cuban companies and 28 foreign companies.
According to Carricarte Corona, “it is an integration platform for the Caribbean region and we have to ensure that the chambers of commerce, associations of the region see it this way, and we agreed to create a working group with all the embassies of the Caribbean. , so that what we do strengthens the trade and cooperation agreement that Cuba has to turn it into an instrument for the promotion and development of business and commerce.
This was demonstrated by studies of productive niches with emphasis on the eastern provinces; Brazil’s work strategy towards the Caribbean; the usual meeting between chambers of Commerce, Caribbean regulatory agencies and the Business Forum, as well as the presentation of projects sponsored by the Local Governments of eight provinces.
With the call to the XX, actions aimed at better promoting the second most important commercial exchange in the country and promoting the materialization of the permanent objective of having a greater impact on the execution of contracts and businesses are already on the table.
