The mobilizations and commemorative events for the International LGBT Pride Day which is celebrated on June 28 will even be extended to next month, as various municipalities have presented activities and the traditional march since weeks ago and until the first fortnight of the month of July.
In the capital of Potosí, Pride will be commemorated on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 4:00 in the afternoon in Morales Park. From there, the traditional march will begin, traveling from the González Bocanegra roundabout to the Historic Center of the city, where the event culminates with a cultural festival.
However, other municipalities in the state have been joining in this awareness campaign for years and have started their activities a few days ago.
In the Huasteca Potosina actions for pride began last week, since in the municipality of Tamazunchale The pride march was last June 22.
In the Middle area in the municipality of Green River A march was also held through the main streets of the municipal capital of the so-called “capital of the world” on June 23.
Also, in City Valleys The march took place on the afternoon of Friday, June 28. The rally began at 5:00 p.m., and the most emblematic streets of the municipality were walked through with the musical group as ambassadors Limbo Beachwho took over the stage after the tour.
In the metropolitan area the municipality of Villa de Reyes The celebrations will begin this Saturday, June 29, the fifth edition of the pride march will take place, starting from the main square at 6:00 p.m.

This same day the march will take place in the municipality of Tamasopo The meeting point will be at the Benito Juárez monument at 5:30 p.m. to begin the tour at 6 p.m. through the main streets of this district until reaching the main garden.
The municipality of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez will begin activities from the first week of July with a collection to benefit Orchid House, as well as a contest to elect an ambassador and finally the march will be held on July 13, starting from Citadina Square until reaching the municipal seat square.
