From producer M. Night Shyamalan comes “Observed,” written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan and based on the novel by AM Shine. The film follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist, who becomes stranded in a vast virgin forest in the west of Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures every night.

Dakota Fanningknown for her participation in titles such as War of the Worlds (War of the Worlds – 2005) and Little Big friends (Uptown Girls – 2003), is preparing to delve into terror and suspense with Observed (The Watchers). This film, set in a dark forest, has generated expectations with the recent release of its trailer.

The distinctiveness of Observed lies in its creative team, led by the debut director and screenwriter Ishana Night Shyamalandaughter of acclaimed filmmaker M. Night Shyamalanresponsible for successes such as The sixth Sense (The Sixth Sense – 1999) and Fragmented (Split – 2016). The latter will also participate in the feature film as a producer of the project.

Based on the novel of the same name by AM Shinethe plot and the claustrophobic new trailer follow Mine (interpreted by Dakota Fanning), an artist who is locked in a dark forest in Ireland. In her search to get out of it and regain her path, she comes across a refuge from which she will not be able to leave. In it, live strangers who try to protect themselves from an unknown threat that watches them every night from the extensive forest. The narrative, rooted in mystery and tension, promises to immerse the viewer in an exciting journey full of intrigue.

The cast of Observed not only includes Fanningbut also actors like Georgina Campbell (Barbarian, Krypton), Olwen Fouéré (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Mandy) and Oliver Finnegan (Outlander). Regarding the technical team, they stand out Eli Arenson (Lamb) in the direction of photography and Abel Korzeniowski (Nocturnal animals, The Nun) in charge of music.

The release date of Observed in Argentina is scheduled for June 13, 2024, under the distribution of Warner Bros. Pictures. Meanwhile, M. Night Shyamalan has advanced his next project, The trap, starring Josh Hartnett (Oppenheimer).
