‘Kraven the Hunter’ is delayed again. Sony Pictures has made changes to the schedule of its upcoming releases and has once again moved the date of the film based on the Marvel villain.
Originally, ‘Kraven the Hunter’ was going to hit theaters on August 30 and has now been moved to December 13, the date on which ‘Karate Kid’ was going to be released. Consequently, the new film in the saga, starring Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio, also delays its premiere to May 30, 2025.
That is to say, The premiere of ‘Karate Kid’ will arrive once the sixth and final season of the Netflix series ‘Cobra Kai’ has ended, with which the film saga shares a universe and characters. The original release date of ‘Kraven the Hunter’ is the premiere of ‘They Listen’, a Bulmhouse production starring John Cho, Katherine Waterston, Havana Rose Liu and Lukita Maxwell, among others.

‘They Listen’ will be released on August 30, 2024, belongs to the horror genre, the specialty of the Blumhouse studio, and has been written and directed by Chris Weitz. ‘Kraven the Hunter’ hits theaters on December 13, 2024, is starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and will be Sony’s next installment in association with Marvel after the resounding failure of Madame Web.
