Six years ago, in the heart of Comuna 4 of Medellín, The Metropolitan Philharmonic of the Aburrá Valley was born at the initiative of the Pasión & Corazón Cultural Corporation, to give meaning to the production, dissemination and promotion of innovative and avant-garde cultural activities in the city.
For this reason, and to commemorate this sixth anniversary, the Philharmonic will hold its now traditional World Star Wars Day celebration, titled May The 4th Be With You – Star Wars Concert.
This Saturday, May 4 at 7:00 pm at the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theater, this concert will be held in which, in addition to enjoying music inspired by the acclaimed film saga, they will celebrate the group’s eleventh anniversary. Star Wars Medellin with the participation of different characters on stage.
But there is more, this great concert will also be aligned with a social sense, “we will join the Aguapaneleros Medellín Foundation to support its work of making visible and dignifying all types of populations in a state of vulnerability,” the organization stated.

As part of Star Wars Day, Lucas Film will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace with its re-release in theaters around the world.
