‘Dune: Part Two’It has already finished its tour of movie theaters and IMAX theaterswhere it achieved enormous success among the public and managed to raise around 708 million dollars.
For a few weeks now, the film directed by Canadian Denis Villeneuve has been available for rent or digital download, but many are wondering on which streaming platform will it be available at no additional cost?.
Well the wait is over, Max, previously known as HBO Max, announced that it will premiere ‘Dune: Part Two’ on its platform starting May 21 in Latin America.
In the advertisements that are already circulating on networks, the streaming service explained that both the first and second parts can be enjoyed on the platform and the users will be able to marathon from the acclaimed story of ‘Paul Atreides’.
“A story of empires, dynasties and sandworms,” says Max’s ad.
‘Dune part one and part two is the adaptation of the novel written by Frank Herbert and which was published in 1965which was a great reference for science fiction cinema.
But the story does not end there, as ‘Dune’ fans hope that Villeneuve will adapt the other books that make up the saga: ‘The Messiah of Dune’, ‘Sons of Dune’, ‘God Emperor of Dune’, ‘Heretics of Dune’ and ‘Dune Chapterhouse’.
‘Dune: Part Two’ was filmed in IMAX format and stars Timothée ChalametZendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler and Florence Pugh.
Many hope that this film will be one of the great contenders in the next Oscarssince the first part managed to compete with 10 nominations, including ‘Best Film’, of which it won 6 awards.
