Fury is born. Final trailer for ‘Furiosa: From the Mad Max Saga’ – The Seventh Art: Your film website

Warner Bros. presents a third and in principle definitive trailer (for the moment only in VO) of ‘Furiosa: From the Mad Max saga‘, George Miller’s long-awaited return to the iconic dystopian world he created more than 40 years ago.

Miller presents a new and exciting original and independent action adventure that will reveal the origins of the powerful character played by Charlize Theron in ‘Mad Max: Fury Road‘. Miller writes, directs and also produces this new feature film with his long-time partner, Oscar-nominated producer Doug Mitchell, under the Australia-based Kennedy Miller Mitchell banner.

The film tells how when the world falls, young Furiosa (Anya Taylor-Joy) is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of the great Biker Horde led by the warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth). Razing the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by Immortan Joe. As the two tyrants fight for supremacy, Furiosa must survive ordeals as she gathers the means to find her way back home.

Along with Taylor-Joy and Hemsworth as young Furiosa and Warlord Dementus, the film also stars Alyla Browne, Lachy Hulme and Tom Burke, among others.

Miller has written the script with Nico Lathouris, with whom he already collaborated on ‘Mad Max: Fury Road‘. The behind-the-scenes creative team includes first assistant director PJ Voeten, second unit director and stunt coordinator Guy Norris, director of photography Simon Duggan, composer Tom Holkenborg, sound designer Robert Mackenzie, editor Eliot Knapman, visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson or colorist Eric Whipp.

The team also includes other collaborators such as production designer Colin Gibson, editor Margaret Sixel, sound mixer Ben Osmo, costume designer Jenny Beavan and makeup designer Lesley Vanderwalt, all of whom won an Oscar for their I work in ‘Mad Max: Fury Road‘.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures present ‘Furiosa: From the Mad Max saga‘, a Kennedy Miller Mitchell production and a George Miller film. The film will arrive in Spanish and North American cinemas from Warner Bros. in just over two weeks, on May 24.
