A Pixar film hides a small Easter egg, which could reveal the fate that the evil character suffered.

toy story It is one of the children’s franchises most loved by the public, in addition to also being one of the highest grossing, since each of his four films has managed to do very good numbers at the box office. Likewise, it is a tetralogy that has been loved and acclaimed by specialized critics from day one.

Thanks to the charm and friendliness of its characters, Toy Story has remained current, to this day, despite the passing of the years. However, a good story is nothing without great antagonists. Having Sid Phillips, Smelly Pete, Al McWhiggin, Emperor Zurg and Lotso as villains in the different films, they have all been memorable characters, which we have enjoyed hating.

It was in the first Toy Story film, released in 1995, where we met Sid Phillips, an evil, deranged boy who experienced pleasure in destroying and mistreating all kinds of toys. Sid was always easy to spot, thanks to his characteristic black short-sleeved T-shirt, with a white skull print in the middle. Thanks to that outfit, we can know that, most likely, Sid Phillips is no longer with us today.

In 2010, when toy Story 3 was released, many fans noticed that, near the end of the film, a character who worked as a garbage collector was wearing the same shirt as Sid. Although Pixar never confirmed that it was really about him, it is very well known that the studio never gives anything “for free”, and that everything has a reason for being. Because of this, fans claimed that it was Sid, and that his chaotic lifestyle had led him to become a simple waste collector.

However, 7 years later, the same shirt made another cameo. This time it was in Coco, a film whose central theme is the Day of the Dead. At a certain point in history, during a talent contest that takes place in a public square, within the world of the dead, we can see a character wearing the famous skull t-shirt, playing a keyboard. Although the skeleton in question has a different look than Sid, since his hair is long, the outfit he wears makes us think that the beloved villain died, under unknown circumstances, and is now dedicated to trying his luck as a musician in the beyond.

If this theory is confirmed, It is striking how Pixar showed us the entire evolution of a secondary character, from his childhood to his death, throughout three different films, without us even realizing it in the first instance. What other secrets of this style will Pixar hide from us in its other films, that we have not discovered yet?
