There is less than a month left until Inside out 2 (Inside Out 2) hits theaters, but there are still many unknowns surrounding the new movie Pixarwhich will continue telling us the story of Rileynow a teenager.

Luckily, the magazine Total Film has had the opportunity to approach Pixar studios to find out some details about the sequel to Reverse that had not yet come to light in the trailers and promotional posters shared so far.

In the new movie Inside OutRiley will have to deal with a handful of new emotions that she will have to learn to coexist with those that already lived within her, while the young woman faces the problems of puberty in high school.

Lance Slashblade will be Riley’s first love

Inside Riley, there will now be a room of secrets in which two new characters will live: a dog named Bloofywhich was part of Riley’s favorite 2D children’s show as a child, and Lance Slashbladea video game character played by Yong Yea whose design is reminiscent of the characters of final fantasy.

Lance Slashblade will stand out for having a pixelated animation and for the moments full of humor that he will contribute to the footage, turning his appearance into a kind of “Keanu Reeves’ Duke Caboom in toy story 4”, according to the magazine.

Additionally, this video game character will be very important to Riley, since he was his first loveas the film’s director points out, Kelsey Mann:

“When you are a teenager and you don’t have a partner, you start to fall in love. And sometimes it’s not just people, but cartoon characters. I say this from experience,” admitted the director of Inside Out 2. “Or video game characters. We thought, “Oh, that would be great. Riley could fall in love with a video game character”.
