Revenge, violence and a lot of blood, this will be the new Twilight of the Gods animated series
The alliance between Zack Snyder and Netflix continues this year. After the premiere of the second part of Rebel Moon and waiting for its extended versions, the American director has offered a preview of another of his projects with the platform: Twilight of the Gods.
Through his social networks, the filmmaker has shared the first trailer for the series, set in Norse mythology, where revenge, violence and blood will be the main protagonists. Regarding the date, it has been confirmed that Netflix It will release all episodes simultaneously on September 19, 2024.
The series has been created by Jay Oliva, known for directing many DC Studios animated films, while Zack Snyder has directed some chapters. The animation will be carried out by the French studio Xilam, and produced by The Stone Quarry.
As for the series, Twilight of the Gods features Leif, a king saved by Sigrid during a bloody battle, with whom he falls madly in love. During their wedding night, the God of Thunder Thor appears and triggers the beginning of a journey full of revenge and honor.
