Matthew Lewis (aka Neville Longbottom) says absolutely no, but a little bit yes
It’s been over a year since it was announced that Max would adapt ‘Harry Potter’ season by year, and since then all the news we’ve heard is from movie actors saying not to count on them. We still don’t know much more, but Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom for eight films, has distanced himself (very) slightly from Daniel Radcliffe’s denial. about returning to the magical saga.

Interviewed by People magazine during the Harry Potter Experience in New York, It cannot be said that Lewis seems to be eager to return to the franchise. “It’s not something I’m expecting or want to do but I wouldn’t look away either”he commented, aware that fans of the saga they would go crazy if they saw him on screen again.
I’d be very interested in checking it out if it was Neville as an adult, totally different vibe. That could be interesting. He would read it and really consider it.
Obviously, Lewis is perfectly aware that what Max proposes is a reboot and not a continuationbut he does well to watch his back because Warner wants to turn ‘Harry Potter’ into a franchise with new films at any price. Who knows if we’ll ever see ‘Neville’? At this point, stranger things have happened in the audiovisual field…
