Description submitted by the project team. Presenting a captivating hotel, where history and modernity, comfort and charm merge. This five-room hotel, set in a setting of fascinating architectural beauty, stands as a testament to innovation and sensitivity towards the historical context. The hotel’s design is characterized by its contemporary approach, combined with traditional elements and noble materials. The rooms present a warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the use of laminated oak wood floors, expropriated from sleepers vacated by railway companies, which is how we achieved the black veins. The general carpentry is made of American oak, which adds a touch of elegance and warmth.

One of the most distinctive features of the design is the separation of the two levels by an air space of 50 cm between the slabs, creating a feeling of spaciousness and fluidity between the spaces. This innovative design not only provides a unique aesthetic, but also contributes to the natural ventilation and energy efficiency of the building given by the subtle turn of the bay on the second level.

Entering the hotel through an 18th-century façade, guests are greeted by a small reception lobby that evokes a sense of history and elegance. In addition, a small business center is located, offering modern amenities for travelers. The fluidity of access is enhanced by the visual connection with the Hotel’s courtyard. From the lobby, one enters this beautiful interior courtyard, laid out with a heterogeneous grid of black slate and mouse-ear trefoil joints, which serves as an oasis of tranquility and connection with nature. This space invites guests to relax and enjoy their surroundings as they make their way to the stairs that lead to the upper floor rooms or the back room.

On the ground floor, there are three bedrooms that offer privacy and comfort to guests. Two of them are intended for practical tourism, keeping the visitor in a basic micro-hotel environment, the third room on that same level is of larger proportions connecting with a private patio exclusive to this room for the guest’s enjoyment. On the upper level, a larger suite is located, designed to provide a luxury accommodation experience, along with a common patio that houses an ancient olive tree, adding a touch of serenity and connection with nature. An additional bedroom on this level offers panoramic views and a charming atmosphere.

The exterior of the hotel is clad in black volcanic stone pavers, which contrast harmoniously with the surroundings and add an element of sophistication and durability. The 22-degree rotated layout of the bay on the second level is the guiding idea of ​​the architectural project and is intended to optimize the orientation of the building and maximize views of the surrounding environment, providing guests with an exceptional visual experience.

In short, the five-room hotel is a testament to architectural excellence and attention to detail. From its innovative design to the choice of high-quality, natural and environmentally friendly materials that reduce carbon footprint, blending into the interior landscape, and harmonious aesthetics with the surroundings, this project basically represents an enclave that promises an unforgettable experience for all those who visit it.
